No matter how far medical treatment technology advances,
lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cerebral stroke,
high blood pressure,
obesity and hyperlipidemia continue to rise while numerous intractable diseases still persist.
It is difficult to recover completely from these diseases,
and treatment till recent times have been restricted to treating symptoms,

Medical institutions that will offer this are assessed for the validity and safety of the treatment procedure
as well as for the robustness of the management system by Certified Committee for Regenerative Medicine
that is accredited by MHLW.
Having been accepted for their capacity to perform the procedure,
they must still go through the approval process at the MHLW and obtain a registry number for the plan in question,
only after which will one be able to carry out the actual procedures.
